Scentless
Mayweed also known as Corn Feverfew (matricaria inodora)
Scentless Mayweed is an annual, commonly found in fields, by the wayside, and on waste patches of ground, and flowers throughout the summer. The name 'Mayweed' is misleading, as it flowers through the summer and into autumn. It is spreading and bunching in its growth, generally about 1 foot in height. When compared to other mayweeds, it may almost be termed 'scentless,' although the term is not strictly appropriate as it has a slightly sweet and pleasant, aromatic odor. |
